Senior Web Developer (React)

Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior Web Developer, who will work with a team of engineers building our client's web application. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support production code.
  • Translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code.
  • Work with product owner and stakeholders to prioritize and scope projects.
  • Responsible for planning, tracking, and reporting on work progress.
  • Responsible for code reviews and delivery of high-quality maintainable code.
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members.
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Technical Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of development experience.
  • 3+ years of web development experience.
  • Experience with EcmaScript and/or Typescript; ES6 preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with React and state management libraries like Redux or Flux.
  • Cross browser/device responsive development experience.
  • Experience with Agile and CI/CD best practices.
Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Jest or Mocha.
  • Experience with visualization frameworks like D3 and Chart.js.
  • Cloud development experience with AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud.
  • Backend development experience using Java, Python, GoLang, or C#.
  • Experience with Front End Frameworks like Bootstrap and Material Design.
  • Experience with Server-Side Rendering with frameworks like Next.js.
  • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with JAMstack architecture.
